Mens' 3rd's vs Tamworth, 06/12/2008

In what was potentially a 6 pointer match Derby played well to come out 3-2 winners over Tamworth. Everybody put in a brilliant effort. Derby led 1-0 at half time thanks to a goal by Dave Green. Goals by Sam Taylor and Jez Seer managed to secure the result. Nick Boulton was brilliant in goals and was only beaten by 2 well hit short corner strikes by one of Tamworth's specialist short corner takers. Man of the match went to Pete Chesney who set up Dave Green for the first goal and is organising the curry night tonight! Derby now sit in 2nd place in the table and 5 points ahead of Tamworth in 3rd.

Next week is an away game at Northampton for a 1.30pm pushback.
