Mens 3s v Leamington
I'm afraid I can't add much that the result (6-3 to us) doesn't already tell you. As ever we played our own brand of attacking hockey with a smattering of defensiveness naievety, but with Leamington only having 10 men and with us being a bit quicker to the ball and in movement, the extra man decided the fixture.
Both Anthony Crooks and Dave Bloomfield grabbed a brace, with Dalraj Tamber and Dale Bradley getting in on the act. In this game we found a bit more balance in the midfield than we have in previous weeks. I suspect that if we had started the game against Players with this line up, the result there may have been very different. We have now cleared the bottom of the table; lets try and stay above the relegation zone for the rest of the season.
A weekend off next week and then a long haul down to play Cov City (aka Jaguar and for those old enough GEC).
Cheers...P
