Busy September for the Ladies 1st XI as pre-season is announced.

This season sees the 1st XI up against some familiar and some not so familiar opposition.

September starts off with the President’s Trophy fixture on the 3rd away at Ashfield Aztecs who beat us for the 1st time in the recent Players 6’s Tournament and went on to win the competition.

The 2nd fixture on the 10th is away at Barton, last season’s Divisional Champions, in what promises to be a highly intense and quality fixture.

We finish the warm-up programme with a road trip to WIGAN on the 17th. Wigan play in the North Hockey league and are going through a restructuring process at the moment but will be very stern opposition for us.

Finally we get to play our 1st home game on the 24th which is our opening league fixture against Northampton Saints, a team we beat comfortably in the same home fixture last season.
