Mens 4th v South Notts 4th

This was going to be a game where a least 1 team was going to get some points as it was a bottom of the table clash.

Well the 1st half see Derby have about 70% of the play but only manage 1 short corner which we got 2 shots from but South Notts with there 30% get several shots at goal.

The second half started badly as within 30 seconds of the start South Notts got there 1st and only short corner which they went and scored from. Within 5 minutes of them scoring Derby got there 2nd and 3rd short corners with Paul Neilson scoring from the 3rd short corner. With in the next 15 minutes we had a further 4 short corners which Paul Neilson duelly scored his 2nd goal of the match. Then 5 minutes from time Nick Boulton scored his 2nd goal in 2 games.

FINAL score Derby Asterdale 4ths 3 South Notts 4th 1. YES THAT DOES mean the 4ths have there 1st points of the season and move off the bottom of the table.

Next week it's another bottom of the table clash 2nd from bottom (us) verses 4th from bottom (West Bridgford 8s).
