Mens 3rds vs Daventry, 15/11/2008

After a weekend off and 2 previous defeats the men's 3rd played a controlled game to win 2-0. Everyone played well even if the passing wasn't as fluid in the second half. Goal scorers were Pete Chesney and Sundeep Mann. Man of the match was James Holder who played excellently at right back.

I think a special word must go to Daventry who have played valiantly considering their captain had died earlier this year of a heart attack on the pitch.

Next weeks match is a 3pm start at home vs Berkswell & Balsall Common.

Cmon Chris, you can do better than that, you're match reports are on the slide mate! Last year they were essay-length pieces, i just dont think your hearts in it anymore...
