Mens 2nds v Ashby

The 2nd team's progress this season continued with a hard fought and extremely satisfying 5 - 1 win against Ashby. The opposition were definitely a step up from last week but the team rose to the challenge admirably. 2 well taken goals by Jamroz saw us leading at half time but well aware of a job only half done - however 2 more goals from Jamroz and a reverse stick beauty from Jamie in the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half killed off the game. Even a late consolation for Ashby couldn't take the gloss off a great performance so that was left to the joy of returning to Wilsthorpe to find the 3 cars we'd left there earlier locked in for the night!
