Mens 4's verses Beeston 7's

Derby start the game against Beeston reasonably strong not giving them any credit for being 2nd in the league. Derby scored 1st, a goal from a short corner which for Derby was a good goal but for Beeston was poor for allowing the shot to be taken in the first place as we were forced to make several passes in the D, the goal was final scored by Dan Simpson.

Beeston equalised almost straight away from some poor and probably only poor defending which lead to a short corner. Derby then seemed to go up a gear with some attacking play for a good period of time but weren't able to get into there D for a shot. Final we did and Matt Brennan playing his first game in the UK scored a goal. Unfortunately we seamed to sit back and almost straight away conceded a 2nd.

Half-time was Beeston 2 Derby 2.

The half-time talk well did go to well as the team came out and almost straight away conceded a goal. Then following and injury to Keiran Lamb left back lead to abit of a scramble at back as I came on and tried to reorganises lead to a short corner being awarded and conceding our 4th goal. But unlike before Christmas we didn't rollover and fought back to get further goals from Matt and Dan S
