Mens 2nds Match Reports - back to business!

Back by popular demand I will be posting match reports again.
Last week found derby versus 3rd placed Newark.
The drive of the derby players was amazing from the start and perhaps the new found 7ft tall iron man mascot had something todo with it.
A short report this week given that its taken until almost halfway through the season to get my log in to work.
Ben Taylor for Man of the match for the best goals of the season and ensuring a derby 3-3 draw and much needed point. As per the mid season report the newly formed 2nd team (90% last seasons 3rds) are pushing to stay in this league and shock the league. At present we are only one point out of the relegation zone and with two games remaining until the mid season break we are far from safe.
Special thanks to the umpires for not sending off any players this week. We may complain but its always in the spirit of the game and we all know that without your support we would not be able to play.
This coming weeks fixture is against 2nd placed Nottingham and sure to be a tough fight for points.
Rumour has it that Iron Man is the new reserve goalkeeper since Andy Brodie has broken two toes even with kickers on. One word........ wimp!
