Mens 2nds v Grantham

A competent if not entirely satisfactory victory against Grantham. I guess you should always be happy with a 7-0 win (credit to Grantham for a battling performance, particularly in the 2nd half) but we will all need to up the work rate and use the ball more effectively against the better sides in the division if all the good work before Christmas is not going to be wasted. On a more positive note a 2nd team debut for Matt Bunker was capped with 2 goals and Dave Vessey made his first tentative appearance of the season.
