Once again, a game that needs to be forgotten. A 6-2 loss was unexpected but should serve as a wake up call that promotion this season is not certain.

We started the game strongly, and there was a strong possibilty of us getting a result from this game. However, we fell behind from a short corner. We did equalise from our own short, a strike from Ian.

Unfortunatley, like the home game we slipped 3-1 behind. Just before our 2nd goal, Andy Knight rounded the keeper only to see a Wellingborough player dive across the line to clear it. We did score our 2nd a few minutes from another short through Dave.

Then came the 5 minutes of madness which saw Dave, not once but twice mishit a pass across the D. Which left their striker with two simple finishes to make the score 5-2.

For the first time this season we seemed to give up and stop fighting for the ball. The 6th came in the last minutes from a penalty stroke, which Dave is adament did not hit his foot but was a superb reaction stop.
